Hello Family and Friends. I have set up this blog to share our adventures with you. I am new to blogging, so please bear with me as I learn how to use this thing.
On Saturday we will be joining Skylark for the second time. Skylark is the name of our 50 foot Bavaria sailing boat. Chris chose the name because it represents having fun in a fool-hardy kind of way. “Fool” is certainly an appropriate word to use for me when it comes to boats, but apart from that, the term reminds me of my Granny. Most school holidays, my siblings and I used to stay with my grandparents and invariably we’d here Gran say “stop skylarking you lot” as we jumped up and down on the beds or other such palaver.
Anyway, please wish us smooth sailing…particularly as I get sick in the bath!
